“There is a quixotic element to what I do. I really like my clients. I want to help them. I’ve watched these people work hard only to have their life savings go down the drain or their livelihood be put in jeopardy. At the same time, somebody else is profiting from their work. There is an element of justice to what I do. When we finish a case I want the client to leave saying: “I like him; I think he’s smart; he gave me good advice; and he was fair to me.”

“We represent a lot of small businesses who have legitimate legal disputes with manufacturers that have wronged them, terminated them or not paid commissions. They’re going through a very difficult situation. We can tell them they’re going to be able to get through this and come out the other end intact. Helping our clients through their problems is an aspect of the work that I really enjoy.”
